Temporada de Premios: Nominados a Spirit Award 2020

¡Comenzó la temporada de premios! Los Spirit Awards tomaron la delantera y en esta semana dieron a conocer cuáles son esas películas que se han destacado este año lo suficiente para llegar a las nominaciones.

Se anunciaron las nominaciones para los 35 ° Premios Independent Spirit , y fue una gran mañana para "The Lighthouse" y "Uncut Gems". La ceremonia anual de entrega de premios independientes es presentada por Film Independent y tiene lugar el día antes de los Premios de la Academia en el Playa en Santa Mónica, California. Los Spirit Awards se han hecho conocidos en la última década por exhibir nominados que son una mezcla de películas desvalidas (ver "Sorry to Bother You", "Leave No Trace" y "We the Animals" el año pasado) y contendientes de premios de alto perfil ("If Beale Street could talk", "BlacKkKlansman").

El gran ganador del Spirit Award del año pasado fue "If Beale Street Could Talk", de Barry Jenkins, que ganó premios por Mejor Película, Mejor Director y Mejor Actriz de Reparto por Regina King. A la noche siguiente, King repitió en los Oscar.
