Temporada de Premios: Ganadores a la 76ta entrega de los Primetime Emmy Awards

Por segunda vez este año, Hollywood se reunió para honrar a las mayores estrellas de la televisión. 'Shogun' dominó con 18 victorias y 'The Bear' consiguió 11.




Después de que la ceremonia de 2023 se retrasara hasta enero de 2024 por las huelgas de actores y escritores ocurridas el año pasado en Hollywood, solo han pasado ocho meses desde que las mayores estrellas de la televisión se reunieron en el LA Live Peacock Theatre de Los Ángeles para anunciar a los ganadores del Emmy. Como hace meses, las estrellas de “The Bear”, Jeremy Allen White y Ebon Moss-Bachrach, volvieron a ganar el premio al mejor actor principal y actor de reparto en una comedia, y la coprotagonista Colón-Zayas ganó su primer Emmy en la carrera por la mejor actriz de reparto. La estrella de “Hacks”, Jean Smart, ganó el premio a la mejor actriz de comedia, y en la mayor sorpresa de la noche, “Hacks” de HBO ganó el premio a la mejor comedia sobre “The Bear”, que era la favorita.

“The Bear” rompió su propio récord de 10 premios de comedia en una sola temporada, que había logrado el año pasado, con sus 11 trofeos, incluyendo el de dirección para Christopher Storer. FX también tuvo una gran noche con “Shogun”, que ganó los premios a mejor drama, mejor actor principal para Hiroyuki Sanada, mejor actriz para Anna Sawai y mejor dirección para Frederick EO Toye. Después de ganar 14 premios en el Creative Arts Emmy el fin de semana pasado, “Shogun” ya rompió el récord de más premios para una serie en una sola temporada.

El éxito viral de Netflix “Baby Reindeer” ganó el premio a la mejor miniserie o antología, y su creador, Richard Gadd, se llevó el premio a mejor actor principal y guion. Su coprotagonista Jessica Gunning, que interpretó a su acosadora Martha, ganó el premio a mejor actriz de reparto. Jodie Foster ganó el primer Emmy de su carrera por su papel protagónico en “True Detective: Night Country” de HBO.

Eugene y Dan Levy, las estrellas de “Schitt's Creek”, ganadores de premios Emmy y dúo padre-hijo, presentaron la 76.ª edición de los premios Emmy. Al igual que la ceremonia anterior, la transmisión mostró varias reuniones y emparejamientos televisivos de padres famosos de la televisión, médicos, villanos y más. Las estrellas de “West Wing” Martin Sheen, Dulé Hill, Janel Moloney, Richard Schiff y Allison Janney se reunieron en el escenario en honor al 25ta aniversario de la serie. Las estrellas multigeneracionales de “Saturday Night Live” Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Seth Meyers y Bowen Yang también subieron al escenario para honrar la 50ta temporada de la serie de sketches y para burlarse de las 85 derrotas de Lorne Michaels en los premios Emmy. “Happy Days” también celebró su 50to aniversario, con Henry Winkler y Ron Howard apareciendo en el escenario en una recreación del escenario de la serie.
