Temporada de premios 2026: Ganadores de la 31ra entrega de los Critics Choice Awards

"One Battle After Another" fue nombrada mejor película el domingo por la noche. Otras grandes ganadoras fueron "Sinners", "KPop Demon Hunters", "The Studio", "Adolescence" y "Jimmy Kimmel Live!".

One Battle After Another fue nombrada mejor película en los  Critics Choice  Awards el domingo por la noche. Además, Paul Thomas Anderson obtuvo el premio al mejor director por su película.

Por otra parte, "Sinners" se alzó con cuatro premios, incluyendo los reconocimientos al mejor reparto y elenco, una categoría nueva este año, que recayó en Francine Maisle. Miles Caton, de la película, fue nombrado mejor actor o actriz joven, Ryan Coogler ganó el premio al mejor guion original y Ludwig Göransson el de mejor banda sonora.

En las categorías de actuación, Timothée Chalamet ganó el premio al mejor actor por "Marty Supreme", y Jessie Buckley el de mejor actriz por "Hamnet". Jacob Elordi ganó el premio al mejor actor de reparto por "Frankenstein", mientras que Amy Madigan ganó el de mejor actriz de reparto por "Weapons". Los ganadores de la categoría de actuación en Serie Limitada fueron Sarah Snook de "All Her Fault" y Erin Doherty, Stephen Graham y Owen Cooper de "Adolescence", que también ganó el premio a la mejor Serie Limitada. Jimmy Kimmel Live! fue nombrado mejor programa de entrevistas.

"The Studio" se llevó el premio a la mejor serie de comedia. Temporada de Premios 2026: Nominados a la 83ra entrega de los Golden Globe Awards

"One Battle After Another" lidera las nominaciones a los Globos de Oro 2026 , que se anunciaron temprano el lunes por la mañana.

La película de Paul Thomas Anderson obtuvo un total de nueve nominaciones, incluyendo mejor película, director y guionista. "Sentimental Value" obtuvo ocho, seguida de "Sinners" con siete, "Hamnet" con seis y "Frankenstein" y "Wicked: For Good" con cinco cada una. En las categorías de TV, The White Lotus encabeza la lista con seis nominaciones, seguida de Adolescence con cinco y Only Murders in the Building y Severance con cuatro cada una.

Marlon Wayans y Skye P. Marshall anunciaron los nominados de este año la madrugada del lunes en 28 categorías. Los Globos de Oro premiarán a lo mejor del año en cine, televisión y, por primera vez, en podcasts. Además de los premios a la mejor película y serie de televisión, los premios a la actuación en cine y televisión, y los premios a la dirección y al guion en cine, los Globos reconocen la mejor actuación de monólogos cómicos en televisión y, en cine, los logros cinematográficos y de taquilla.

Temporada de premios: Nominados a la VI Edición del Premio de la Crítica

 La Asociación Dominicana de Prensa y Crítica Cinematográfica (Adopresci) anunció los títulos postulados a la VI edición del Premio de la Crítica Cinematográfica, cuya ceremonia se celebrará el 7 de agosto de 2025 en el Centro Cultural Banreservas. Este evento cuenta con el respaldo de Banreservas, EGEDA Dominicana, la empresa Logomarca, la Dirección General de Cine y DBC Network & Studios.

Este galardón se ha consolidado como una referencia dentro de la industria cinematográfica local, otorgando a la crítica un espacio significativo por sus aportes tanto en el reconocimiento anual a lo mejor del cine dominicano como en las actividades de formación de públicos que realiza Adopresci, incluyendo cinefórums y conversatorios en colaboración con la Dirección General de Cine, la Cinemateca Dominicana, el Centro Cultural Banreservas y el Centro Cultural de España.

Esta premiación representa también el cierre de un año de intenso trabajo en la difusión de la cinematografía nacional. Desde nuestras plataformas y medios, así como en estrecha colaboración con nuestros aliados institucionales, hemos acompañado al cine dominicano en su recorrido, promoviendo la reflexión crítica y el reconocimiento de sus creadores.

La selección de los finalistas fue realizada por los miembros de Adopresci, quienes evaluaron todas las producciones dominicanas de ficción y documental estrenadas comercialmente durante el año 2024 en salas del país.

En la categoría Mejor Película de Ficción compiten Pérez Rodríguez de Humberto Tavárez, Boca Chica de Gabriela Moses, Insular de Héctor Valdez, La Grande de Tito Rodríguez y La Familia de Yasser Michelén.

En Mejor Documental, las obras candidatas son: El Fotógrafo de la 40 de Orlando Barría y Erica Santelices, Morena(s) de Vicky Apolinario e Iván de Lara, y Por eso vengo al río de Fernando Blanco.

Los aspirantes a Mejor Dirección son: Humberto Tavárez (Pérez Rodríguez), Gabriela Moses (Boca Chica), Héctor Valdez (Insular), Tito Rodríguez (La Grande) y Yasser Michelén (La Familia).

Temporada de Premios: Nominados a la 78va entrega de los Premios del cine BAFTA

La Academia Británica reveló todos los contendientes para sus honores de 2025 en Londres.

Edward Berger y drama del vaticano "Conclave" son ahora el favorito en las nominaciones a los Premios del BAFTA de este año. La película protagonizada por Ralph Fiennes y Stanley Tucci, basada en la novela de Robert Harris, lidera el ranking con 12 nominaciones a los premios, por delante de las 11 de "Emilia Pérez" y las nueve de "The Brutalist". Entre otras, Conclave compite por los premios a mejor película, mejor película británica, mejor dirección para Berger, actor principal para Fiennes y guión adaptado para Peter Straughan. Isabella Rossellini también está nominada en la categoría de actriz de reparto.

En 2023, el drama de la Primera Guerra Mundial de Berger "All Quiet on the Western Front" obtuvo 14 nominaciones a los premios BAFTA. También terminó con siete victorias, incluida la de mejor película.

Temporada de Premios: Nominados a la 82da entrega de los Golden Globe Awards

Emilia Pérez lidera las nominaciones a los Globos de Oro 2025 , que fueron presentados en vivo en una conferencia de prensa en el Beverly Hilton la mañana de este lunes.

La película obtuvo 10 nominaciones, más que cualquier otro título en cine o televisión, lo que rompe el récord que tenía anteriormente una comedia o película musical, superando a Barbie, que obtuvo un total de nueve nominaciones el año pasado.

En cuanto a películas, Emilia Pérez fue seguida por The Brutalist con siete nominaciones, Conclave con seis, y Anora y The Substance con cinco cada una. The Bear lidera las nominaciones de televisión con cinco menciones en total, seguida por Only Murders in the Building y Shogun con cuatro cada una.

La 82.ª edición anual de los Premios Globo de Oro se transmitirá en vivo desde el Beverly Hilton por CBS y se transmitirá por Paramount+ el domingo 5 de enero de 2025 a las 5 p. m., hora del Pacífico/8 p. m., hora del Este.

Nikki Glaser será la presentadora de los Globos de Oro de 2025, y los productores ganadores del Emmy Glenn Weiss y Ricky Kirshner se encargarán de la producción, por segundo año consecutivo. Temporada de Premios: Ganadores a la 76ta entrega de los Primetime Emmy Awards

Por segunda vez este año, Hollywood se reunió para honrar a las mayores estrellas de la televisión. 'Shogun' dominó con 18 victorias y 'The Bear' consiguió 11.

Después de que la ceremonia de 2023 se retrasara hasta enero de 2024 por las huelgas de actores y escritores ocurridas el año pasado en Hollywood, solo han pasado ocho meses desde que las mayores estrellas de la televisión se reunieron en el LA Live Peacock Theatre de Los Ángeles para anunciar a los ganadores del Emmy. Como hace meses, las estrellas de “The Bear”, Jeremy Allen White y Ebon Moss-Bachrach, volvieron a ganar el premio al mejor actor principal y actor de reparto en una comedia, y la coprotagonista Colón-Zayas ganó su primer Emmy en la carrera por la mejor actriz de reparto. La estrella de “Hacks”, Jean Smart, ganó el premio a la mejor actriz de comedia, y en la mayor sorpresa de la noche, “Hacks” de HBO ganó el premio a la mejor comedia sobre “The Bear”, que era la favorita.

“The Bear” rompió su propio récord de 10 premios de comedia en una sola temporada, que había logrado el año pasado, con sus 11 trofeos, incluyendo el de dirección para Christopher Storer. FX también tuvo una gran noche con “Shogun”, que ganó los premios a mejor drama, mejor actor principal para Hiroyuki Sanada, mejor actriz para Anna Sawai y mejor dirección para Frederick EO Toye. Después de ganar 14 premios en el Creative Arts Emmy el fin de semana pasado, “Shogun” ya rompió el récord de más premios para una serie en una sola temporada.

El éxito viral de Netflix “Baby Reindeer” ganó el premio a la mejor miniserie o antología, y su creador, Richard Gadd, se llevó el premio a mejor actor principal y guion. Su coprotagonista Jessica Gunning, que interpretó a su acosadora Martha, ganó el premio a mejor actriz de reparto. Jodie Foster ganó el primer Emmy de su carrera por su papel protagónico en “True Detective: Night Country” de HBO.

Eugene y Dan Levy, las estrellas de “Schitt's Creek”, ganadores de premios Emmy y dúo padre-hijo, presentaron la 76.ª edición de los premios Emmy. Al igual que la ceremonia anterior, la transmisión mostró varias reuniones y emparejamientos televisivos de padres famosos de la televisión, médicos, villanos y más. Las estrellas de “West Wing” Martin Sheen, Dulé Hill, Janel Moloney, Richard Schiff y Allison Janney se reunieron en el escenario en honor al 25ta aniversario de la serie. Las estrellas multigeneracionales de “Saturday Night Live” Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Seth Meyers y Bowen Yang también subieron al escenario para honrar la 50ta temporada de la serie de sketches y para burlarse de las 85 derrotas de Lorne Michaels en los premios Emmy. “Happy Days” también celebró su 50to aniversario, con Henry Winkler y Ron Howard apareciendo en el escenario en una recreación del escenario de la serie.

ADOPRESCI celebra sus 5 años de edición del “Premio de la Crítica”

La Asociación Dominicana de Prensa y Crítica Cinematográfica (ADOPRESCI) anunció su lista anual de las películas nominadas dentro de la celebración de sus 5 años de la edición del Premio de la Crítica Cinematográfica a celebrarse el 18 de julio de 2024 en el Centro Cultural Banreservas.

En esta quinta edición, bajo los auspicios del Banreservas, Dirección General de Cine, EGEDA Dominicana y la empresa Logomarca, el premio se consolida otorgando a la asociación un espacio importante dentro de la industria cinematográfica local por los aportes que está realizando tanto

con la premiación a lo mejor del cine dominicano de cada año, como por las actividades de cinefórum que realiza en conjunto con la Dirección General de Cine, Cinemateca Dominicana y el Centro Cultural

Banreservas.

Para la selección de nominados de esta edición los miembros de ADOPRESCI tomaron en cuenta todas las producciones cinematográficas dominicanas estrenadas a lo largo del año 2023 tanto en ficción como

documental. De esas producciones fílmicas las producciones “Cuarencena” de David Maler, “La hembrita” de Laura Amelia Guzmán, “Croma Kid” de Pablo Chea, “Convivencia” de José Gómez de Vargas y “El vendedor de arte” de Marcel Fondeur son las nominadas para la categoría de Mejor Película de Ficción.

Y entre las producciones fílmicas de documental las nominadas son: “Tumba y Quema” de José María Cabral, “No me conoces” de Nashla Bogaert, “Ramona” de Victoria Linares Villegas, “Renacer” de Tito

Rodríguez y “Yaque” de Oliver Olivo. 

En la categoría de Mejor Actor están nominados los intérpretes Luis José Germán (Cuarencena), Pepe Sierra (El Método), Gerardo Mercedes Convivencia), Ramón Emilio Candelario (Danny 45) y Francis Cruz (El vendedor de arte). En la categoría de Mejor Actriz se encuentran Cecilia García (La hembrita),

Una novedad de esta edición es que se está reconociendo el trabajo de la selección y realización del casting premiará en la categoría de Mejor Elenco, quedando como nominadas “Cuarencena”, “Danny 45”, “El vendedor de arte, “Convivencia” y “El método”.

Para esta quinta edición ADOPRESCI otorgará su Reconocimiento Especial Personaje de la Industria Cinematográfica, de manera póstuma, para el maestro de la actuación y dirección Pericles Mejía, por su legado de conocimiento y experiencia hacia varias generaciones de actores y actrices.

Sobre ADOPRESCI y los 5 años del “Premio de la Crítica”

ADOPRESCI es una organización de gestión colectiva fundada el 9 de febrero del 2019 por iniciativa de Alfonso Quiñones, con el objetivo de congregar a periodistas y críticos de cine a fin de educar y orientar al público y respaldar la industria del cine desde la óptica de quienes analizan las películas. Desde la celebración de su primera edición efectuada el 5 de febrero de 2020 en el Hodelpa Casa Real de la Ciudad Colonial, dentro del marco de la celebración de la Quincena de Cine, evento de promoción del arte y la

cultura dominicana a través del séptimo arte, auspiciado por la Dirección General de Cine, la asociación ha mantenido un trabajo sistemático en el análisis que realiza cada año a todas las producciones fílmicas que son estrenadas, de manera comercial, en las salas de cine del país.

La selección de los nominados, según sus estatutos, se realiza tomando en cuenta las producciones fílmicas dominicanas tanto de ficción como documental que son exhibidas y distribuidas de manera comercial a través de una sala de cine establecida en el territorio nacional, y que haya tenido

un contrato de distribución con alguna empresa local destinada para estos fines con un mínimo de una semana de exhibición pública.

Recientemente fue convocada una asamblea para la renovación de su directiva, siendo confirmado los cargos de Dahiana Acosta como su presidente, Félix Manuel Lora, vicepresidente; José Aquino como Tesorero; Ysidro Eduardo García secretario ejecutivo e Inés de los Santos (una servidora), Vocal.
