Temporada de premios 2026: Nominados a la 98va entrega de los Premios de la Academia

"Sinners" lidera las nominaciones al Oscar 2026 con un récord de 16 nominaciones , incluyendo mejor película, mejor director y mejor guión original.

"One Battle After Another" también es una de las principales nominadas, con 13, seguida por "Frankenstein", "Marty Supreme" y "Sentimental Value" con nueve cada una. 'Hamnet' y 'One Battle After Another' ganaron los principales premios de cine de la noche, mientras que 'The Pitt', 'The Studio' y 'Adolescence' reinaron en las categorías de televisión.

"Hamnet" fue nombrada mejor película dramática en la 83.ª edición de los Globos de Oro, que se entregaron el domingo por la noche. Jessie Buckley, protagonista de la película, fue nombrada mejor actriz. "One Battle After Another" se alzó con el premio a la mejor película de comedia o musical. La película se alzó con tres premios más, incluyendo mejor actriz de reparto para Teyana Taylor y mejor director y mejor guion para Paul Thomas Anderson.

Rose Byrne ganó el premio a la mejor actriz de comedia o musical por "If I Had Legs I'd Kick You", mientras que Timothée Chalamet ganó el premio a mejor actor por "Marty Supreme". Crítica Cinéfila: Sentimental Value

Tras la muerte de su madre, las hermanas Nora y Agnes se reencuentran con su distanciado padre, Gustav Borg, un veterano director de cine de renombre, que le ofrece a su hija Nora, actriz de teatro, un papel en su próxima película. Nora lo rechaza y pronto descubre que le ha dado ese papel a una joven y entusiasta estrella de Hollywood. De repente, las dos hermanas deben sortear su complicada relación con su padre y lidiar con una actriz estadounidense que se encuentra en medio de su compleja dinámica familiar.

Joachim Trier tiene un propósito con su cinematografía: crear experiencias narrativas alrededor de las crisis existenciales que todo ser humano está destinado a tener en algún momento de su vida. El primer viaje fue la crisis existencial que cuestiona nuestra mera existencia ("Thelma" del 2017); después le sigue la crisis existencial relacionada al paso de los años y lo que uno ha ido logrando/haciendo ("La Peor Persona del Mundo). Finalmente ha vuelto con la crisis existencial atada a los conflictos familiares y cómo eso nos convierte en personas que desearíamos no ser, pero que estamos destinados a encontrar el propósito de por qué somos así.

En esa lucha interna conocemos a Nora (Renate Reinsve), quien es actriz de teatro con el síndrome del Impostor. Aunque se mantiene constante en el escenario y obtiene oportunidades para crear, llega en pánico al día de la presentación rompiendo su vestuario tras bambalinas. Se desconoce si sus inseguridades provienen de su complicada relación con su padre, Gustav (Stellan Skarsgård) quien es director de cine. Cuando su madre fallece, su padre retorna a su hogar de infancia, donde le están organizando el funeral, con el interés de filmar su próxima película allí, y le ofrece el rol protagónico de su próxima película a Nora. Ella comienza a revivir ciertos resentimientos hacia él, rechazando el trabajo, e incluso leer el guion.

Trier vuelve a trabajar con Reinsve en una historia que es también un viaje de reencuentro emocional tanto para Nora como para Gustav. Así como lo logró en "La Peor Persona del Mundo", Reinsve nos obliga a ponernos en sus zapatos y navegar sus lagunas depresivas, mientras ignora cada acercamiento de su padre, en un intento que ella considera como una "compensación" por los años frustrados. Sin embargo, el Gustav de Skarsgård no está muy alejado de cómo es Nora, con una continua tristeza en sus ojos y un continuo autocuestionamiento de si logrará hacer la película que tiene en mente, obligándolo a reevaluar sus años de trabajo, y el desbalance entre su vida laboral y su familia.

La dinámica (o constantes luchas) de Reinsve y Skarsgård son atractivas, casi imitando a dos alfas en una danza a muerte de quién logrará tener la razón al final. Por esa actitud en sus roles es que vemos como dominan a los demás personajes, inclusive a la hermana menor de Nora, Agnes (interpretada por Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas) quien alguna vez fue la actriz de una de las películas de su padre y ha mantenido una relación tranquila con él; o la actriz Rachel Kemp (interpretada por Elle Fanning) quien ha sido contratada por Gustav para reemplazar a Nora, y cuestiona si de verdad tiene las destrezas para hacer su película por las mismas complejidades que el personaje lleva. 

La película está compuesta por un sinnúmero de otros personajes que le dan vida a cada momento emotivo y cada luz que se posa en el camino, pero el que brilla por su majestuosidad es la casa familiar de Gustav, Nora y Agnes, la cual tiene una historia mucho antes del nacimiento de Gustav, y que ha vivido muchas tragedias y derrotas. Sus cambios parecen ser un reflejo de lo mucho que cambia el ser humano con el tiempo, independientemente de su origen, y cómo se va moldeando de acuerdo a las realidades que uno enfrenta en cada etapa de la vida. Es igualmente un espejo de lo emocionalmente variante que somos y que aunque el exterior se mantiene intacto, las cicatrices del dolor se van creando en sus paredes. Esto también es una metáfora de la depresión y lo invasiva pero silenciosa que pueda ser. Sea o no la intención del director, pero presenta como el ser humano está propenso a deprimirse ante situaciones incontrolables, y que uno debe aprender a tolerarlo o manjearlo, pero es imposible evitarlo si está destinado a pasar.

Con una cinematografía increíblemente limpia y un estilo narrativo impredescible, "Sentimental Value" se siente como una reflexión de la vida: lo que nos ocurre y lo que sentimos mientras nos ocurre está destinado a pasar para convertirnos en las personas que somos, y las grietas que se van creando en el lugar donde nos lleva, sean grandes o pequeñas, con el tiempo adquieren ese valor sentimental que le damos a las cosas, situaciones o personas que entran a nuestras vidas con un propósito puntual. En el momento parecerá una lección dolorosa, y la cicatriz parecerá eterna, pero eventualmente se logran apreciar con compasión.

Temporada de Premios 2026: Nominados a la 83ra entrega de los Golden Globe Awards

"One Battle After Another" lidera las nominaciones a los Globos de Oro 2026 , que se anunciaron temprano el lunes por la mañana.

La película de Paul Thomas Anderson obtuvo un total de nueve nominaciones, incluyendo mejor película, director y guionista. "Sentimental Value" obtuvo ocho, seguida de "Sinners" con siete, "Hamnet" con seis y "Frankenstein" y "Wicked: For Good" con cinco cada una. En las categorías de TV, The White Lotus encabeza la lista con seis nominaciones, seguida de Adolescence con cinco y Only Murders in the Building y Severance con cuatro cada una.

Marlon Wayans y Skye P. Marshall anunciaron los nominados de este año la madrugada del lunes en 28 categorías. Los Globos de Oro premiarán a lo mejor del año en cine, televisión y, por primera vez, en podcasts. Además de los premios a la mejor película y serie de televisión, los premios a la actuación en cine y televisión, y los premios a la dirección y al guion en cine, los Globos reconocen la mejor actuación de monólogos cómicos en televisión y, en cine, los logros cinematográficos y de taquilla.

Además de los premios competitivos, los Globos de Oro anunciaron previamente que Helen Mirren recibiría el Premio Cecil B. DeMille de este año y que Sarah Jessica Parker recibiría el Premio Carol Burnett. Tanto Mirren como Parker serán homenajeadas durante el especial de la Noche Dorada en horario estelar el jueves 8 de enero, en CBS y en streaming por Paramount+. Los Globos de Oro 2026, presentados por la maestra de ceremonias Nikki Glaser , se transmitirán en vivo el domingo 11 de enero a las 5 p. m., hora del Este/8 p. m., hora del Pacífico, en CBS y Paramount+.
