Temporada de Premios: Ganadores a la 74ta entrega de los Premios Emmy


La 74ª entrega anual de los premios Emmy finalmente concluyó su etapa de galardones después de una apretada transmisión de tres horas que vio a varios ganadores repetidos, junto con unas cuantas sorpresas.

Durante la ceremonia presentada por Kenan Thompson en el día de ayer, "Ted Lasso" de Apple TV+ ganó el premio a la mejor serie de comedia por segundo año consecutivo, "The White Lotus" de HBO Max se llevó la mejor serie limitada y "Succession" de HBO obtuvo el premio a serie dramática por segunda ocasión.

Durante esta entrega, la estrella de "Squid Game" de Netflix, Lee Jung-jae, se convirtió en el primer actor asiático en ganar el premio al actor principal en un drama, y la cuarta persona asiática en ganar un Emmy de actuación, mientras que la estrella de "Euphoria" de HBO, Zendaya, se convirtió en la primera mujer negra en ganar el premio a la actriz principal en un drama, y la ganadora más joven en recibir dos Emmys en la misma categoría.

La estrella de "Hacks", Jean Smart, ganó el premio a Mejor Actriz en una Comedia por el programa de HBO Max, y Jason Sudeikis de "Ted Lasso" una vez más obtuvo el máximo honor como actor en una Comedia.

Amanda Seyfried quedó como mejor actriz principal en una serie limitada por su interpretación de la fundadora de Theranos, Elizabeth Holmes, en "The Dropout" de Hulu, y la actriz favorita de los fans en "The White Lotus", Jennifer Coolidge, ganó como actriz de reparto en una serie limitada. Por el lado de los actores, los honores fueron para Michael Keaton por "Dopesick" de Hulu y Murray Bartlett por su papel secundario en "The White Lotus" de HBO.

Se lograron avances en la diversidad en las categorías que no son de actuación cuando Hwang Dong-hyuk de “Squid Game” se convirtió en el primer director asiático en ganar la categoría de serie dramática, y el primer director en ganar por una serie en un idioma no inglés, y la creadora y estrella de "Abbott Elementary", Quinta Brunson, ganó por guión de serie de comedia

Además, los Emmy otorgaron el Premio de los Gobernadores 2022 al Instituto Geena Davis sobre Género en los Medios.
