Temporada de Premios: Ganadores a la 74ta entrega de los Premios Emmy


La 74ª entrega anual de los premios Emmy finalmente concluyó su etapa de galardones después de una apretada transmisión de tres horas que vio a varios ganadores repetidos, junto con unas cuantas sorpresas.

Durante la ceremonia presentada por Kenan Thompson en el día de ayer, "Ted Lasso" de Apple TV+ ganó el premio a la mejor serie de comedia por segundo año consecutivo, "The White Lotus" de HBO Max se llevó la mejor serie limitada y "Succession" de HBO obtuvo el premio a serie dramática por segunda ocasión.

Durante esta entrega, la estrella de "Squid Game" de Netflix, Lee Jung-jae, se convirtió en el primer actor asiático en ganar el premio al actor principal en un drama, y la cuarta persona asiática en ganar un Emmy de actuación, mientras que la estrella de "Euphoria" de HBO, Zendaya, se convirtió en la primera mujer negra en ganar el premio a la actriz principal en un drama, y la ganadora más joven en recibir dos Emmys en la misma categoría.

La estrella de "Hacks", Jean Smart, ganó el premio a Mejor Actriz en una Comedia por el programa de HBO Max, y Jason Sudeikis de "Ted Lasso" una vez más obtuvo el máximo honor como actor en una Comedia.

Amanda Seyfried quedó como mejor actriz principal en una serie limitada por su interpretación de la fundadora de Theranos, Elizabeth Holmes, en "The Dropout" de Hulu, y la actriz favorita de los fans en "The White Lotus", Jennifer Coolidge, ganó como actriz de reparto en una serie limitada. Por el lado de los actores, los honores fueron para Michael Keaton por "Dopesick" de Hulu y Murray Bartlett por su papel secundario en "The White Lotus" de HBO.

Se lograron avances en la diversidad en las categorías que no son de actuación cuando Hwang Dong-hyuk de “Squid Game” se convirtió en el primer director asiático en ganar la categoría de serie dramática, y el primer director en ganar por una serie en un idioma no inglés, y la creadora y estrella de "Abbott Elementary", Quinta Brunson, ganó por guión de serie de comedia

Además, los Emmy otorgaron el Premio de los Gobernadores 2022 al Instituto Geena Davis sobre Género en los Medios.

Temporada de Premios: Ganadores al Critics Choice Awards 2022


Mientras tanto en Los Angeles, la 27ª entrega anual de los Critics Choice Awards celebraba lo mejor de la televisión y el cine, donde “The Power of the Dog” de Jane Campion y “Ted Lasso” encabezaron a los ganadores de la noche con cuatro trofeos cada uno. “Succession”, “Belfast” y “Dune” se llevaron a casa tres premios cada una.

Presentada por Taye Diggs y Nicole Byer, la ceremonia de 2022 se transmitió en vivo por CW y TBS, la noche se desarrollaba con celebraciones en Los Ángeles y Londres, mientras la Asociación de los Críticos (CCA) agregaba la ubicación satelital para incluir a los nominados que también asistieron a los BAFTA. La parte de la ceremonia de Los Ángeles  se llevó a cabo en el Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel, mientras que las estrellas se reunieron para un evento nocturno en el Savoy Hotel de Londres.

Temporada de Premios: Ganadores al Screen Actors Guild Awards 2022


CODA, nominada a Mejor Película de Apple TV+, ganó el mayor premio de la noche, con Marlee Matlin, la única actriz sorda en la historia que ha ganado un Oscar, elogiando a SAG por validar el trabajo de los artistas sordos en su emotivo discurso de aceptación (pronunciado a través de un intérprete de ASL).

Jessica Chastain (The Eyes of Tammy Faye) y Will Smith (King Richard) recibieron grandes impulsos en sus respectivas campañas de los Oscar con victorias principales en los Premios SAG, con Ariana DeBose (West Side Story) llevándose a casa el trofeo de Actriz de Reparto. Aunque se esperaba que Kodi Smit-McPhee de The Power of the Dog se llevara la victoria como actor de reparto en solitario, Troy Kotsur de CODA logró una categoría sorpresiva para convertirse en el primer actor sordo en ganar un premio SAG individual.

Temporada de Premios: Nominados a los Screen Actors Guild Awards 2022


Una temporada de premios salvaje e impredecible produjo una lista de nominados a los Premios del Sindicato de Actores de la Pantalla el miércoles pasado que se desbordó con desaires, sorpresas y opciones desvalidas.

Temporada de Premios: Ganadores de los Primetime Emmy Awards 2021


Oficialmente la Academia de Televisión estadounidense concluye su Temporada de Premios con la 73va entrega de los Primetime Emmy Awards.


The Crown de Netflix reinó en la 73va entrega de los Primetime Emmy Awards anoche, con siete honores, incluida la Serie Dramática.

Mientras tanto, Ted Lasso de Apple TV+ se llevó a casa cuatro, mientras que los Hacks de HBO Max y Mare of Easttown de HBO  han obtenido tres victorias cada uno y The Queen's Gambit de Netflix ganó dos honores, incluida mejor Serie Limitada.

Temporada de Premios: Ganadores al WGA Awards 2021



Promising Young Woman y Borat Subsequent Moviefilm encabezaron los Premios del Gremio de Escritores 2021, ganando el mejor guión original y adaptado, respectivamente. Ambas están nominadas en las categorías de guión original y adaptado, respectivamente, para los Oscar 2021.

Temporada de Premios: Ganadores de la 26va entrega de los Critics Choice Awards


Con la temporada de premios 2021 en pleno apogeo, la 26a edición anual de los Critics Choice Awards honra a los mejores y más brillantes tanto del cine como de la televisión.

Nomadland encabezó los premios. La película Searchlight ganó cuatro premios, incluyendo mejor película y mejor director para la helmer Chloé Zhao. Con los premios llegando poco después de la muerte del mezclador de sonido de producción de la película, Michael Wolf Snyder, Zhao le rindió homenaje durante su discurso de aceptación de mejor director. 

Mientras, The Crown sigue encabezando la serie con más estatuillas, recibiendo Mejor Serie de Drama, Mejor Actriz, Mejor Actor y Mejor Actriz de reparto.
