La Asociación de Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood reconoció las mejores películas y programas de televisión del año, a través del anuncio de los nominados para la entrega no. 79.

La lista de nominados de este año en cine y televisión, anunciada con la ayuda de Snoop Dogg, incluye una variedad diversa de actores y proyectos, incluido el drama King Richard en Mejor Película y Mejor Actor, el thriller psicológico de Jane Campion The Power of The Dog obtuvo múltiples nominaciones (incluyendo Mejor Película, Mejor Director y premios de actuación para Benedict Cumberbatch, Kirsten Dunst y Kodi Smit-McPhee), así como Squid Game de Netflix, que obtuvo dos nominaciones para las estrellas O'Yeong-su y Lee Jung-jae, en la cima de su ubicación entre los nominados a Mejor Serie de Televisión (Drama).
