Nominados a los Premios BAFTA 2019

Fiel a su nombre, The Favorite  dominó las nominaciones para los 72º Premios BAFTA.



La comedia oscura de Yorgos Lanthimos obtuvo 12 nominaciones, preseleccionadas en la mayoría de las categorías principales, significativamente por encima de  Bohemian Rhapsody, First Man, Roma y A Star Is Born, cada una de las cuales recibió siete nominaciones. Los 6,500 miembros votantes de BAFTA mostraron una amplia difusión de amor en una variedad de títulos, y la mayoría de las películas consideradas como parte de la carrera de premios obtuvieron al menos una nominación. Vice aterrizó con seis, BlacKkKlansman cinco y Cold War y Green Book cuatro. Can You Ever Forgive Me?, Mary Poppins Returns, Mary Queen of Scots y Stan & Ollie recibieron tres cada uno.

Hayley Squires (I, Daniel Blake) y Will Poulter (Black Mirror: Bandersnatch) leyeron los nombres preseleccionados en la sede de la academia británica.

La ceremonia de entrega de premios se llevará a cabo el 10 de febrero en el Royal Albert Hall, con Joanna Lumley como anfitriona por segundo año consecutivo.
